We at ALeP strive to provide players with as many useful resources as possible, hoping to keep our amazing community as thriving and active as possible. As part of this mission, we are working on creating useful material for rules purposes.

To this purpose, we are revamping the rules pages on our website both in number and organization of the content, as well as adding a lot of new material to those pages, which will be constantly updated in the future, always trying to keep them as up-to-date as possible.

After the revamp, players will find three main rules pages on our website:

The Semi-official Errata and FAQ 1.10 page includes all the material already present in the FFG official FAQ 1.9 document, but also all the many silent errata and reprints that accrued over the years after the FAQ 1.9 but were never collected in an official FFG document. In addition, we have included on this page almost 400 rulings given out by the developers over the years, creating for the first time a relatively coherent collection of those important tidbits of information. This page is meant for people who want to play using only official rules answers, without any input from the community on how to change and interpret them.

The Community Errata & Free to Choose List page includes fixes to official cards that are either based on obvious mistakes that have never been reprinted or addressed by FFG, or some rulings in which FFG never clarified a new correct wording, so we have used a community consensus to achieve it. In addition, the Free to Choose List is a set of changes to official cards proposed by the ALeP team in an effort to limit some potential broken combos as well as fix some underwhelming cards. The Free to Choose List also includes links to our Reworked Setup pages, an effort to clarify and streamline the messy process that is Setup, using the official rulings on the matter as a basis. This page is meant for people who want to play using the official rules answers, but also with the community’s help on how to better interpret and fix rules and cards.

The ALeP Errata and FAQ page includes errata and rules clarification for the ALeP cards. This page is meant for people who are using the ALeP cards in their games and are looking for the most updated info and rulings on the matter.

We hope you will find these pages helpful, and if you have any suggestions on how to improve them or about any material we should add to them, please let us know!
